The Enterprise Development working group

Every Asian country is at a different stage of clean energy development. Some require assistance to start and set-up associations, whereas others already have associations that now need guidance on capacity-building. What’s clear is this: associations are platforms for growing sustainable businesses—and the stronger the associations, the more all their members will grow through enhanced learning, technology sharing, and connecting with capital.

The objective of the Enterprise Development working group is to develop clean energy enterprises using the public/private partnership model. This group creates networks of industry associations to connect businesses, institutions, and relevant government bodies.

Planned Activities

  • To bring together small and large enterprises to network and share information.
  • To develop, fund and implement projects (with the support of ADB).
  • To provide access to clean and sustainable energy in an economically-viable manner.
